Heliflite introduced the first R22 two-place helicopter in 1980, while the four-place R44 was first introduced in 1994 with both becoming the biggest selling helicopters in Australia. Currently there are more than 470 R22s and 400 R44s in Australia, which is close half the helicopter fleet in Australia.
In 1997 Heliflite was appointed exclusive Australasian distributor for AgustaWestland helicopters which feature the AW139, AW109 Grand New, AW109 Power & AW119 Koala Ke helicopters. Heliflite is the Australasian service centre for AgustaWestland helicopters.
